Church Leadership

Ministers are servants: to God, to the people, and to the communities where they live and serve.

The scriptures teach that God has called His people to follow His human example and serve others (Matthew 13:12-16).  Therefore, as servants, we believe that  ministers, are servant-leaders.  A servant-leader is one who is constantly maturing in Christ and in His teachings and one who has taken an oath/vow to serve others by being an example of Christ’s love in action.

As servant-leaders we are committed to God and to serving those in need. We believe that Servant-Leaders  are not given authority to abuse their position by trying to dictate to members what they should or should not believe. Our Servant-Leaders have taken an oath to teach and preach the Word of God, and to surrender the outcome to God, thereby, allowing God to do the work needed in the lives of others. We believe a truly called and committed Servant-Leader/Servant-Minister is concerned with feeding God’s people; not with trying to control them.
