Holiness Standards

Holiness is our ever-deepening growth in the Spirit of God.

We have no formal holiness standard that is required; we believe holiness comes from relationship with God.  We believe that holiness includes more than what we wear (though that too is important).  We believe holiness includes: our conversations, our activities, our careers, our actions, our attitudes, and our thoughts. Ultimately, we believe that holiness is God directed through prayer and one’s continued growth in his or her relationship with God. Holiness requires a willing heart to accept what is right or wrong for our lives. We embrace this individual process to holiness with God as the purest path to holiness, because it is God directed through the influence of God on the heart of a Believer and being mindful of how our actions influence and affect others.  Therefore, the goal of holiness is not to make everyone look exactly the same, because Holiness is not the result of peer pressure.  Holiness is to conform to the image of God, which is love.
